Board of Directors
Mr. Varun Aditya Thapar oversees a diversified enterprise spanning logistics, real estate, aquaculture, and financial services. He focuses on long-term strategy, governance, and sustainable growth. A graduate of Brown University, Varun began his career in consulting in the United States before returning to India in 2008.
Ms. Nitasha Thapar brings over 15 years of experience at the intersection of art, design, and social entrepreneurship. She is the Co-Founder of TRI, an art and culture center in Kolkata, fostering creative exchange and cultural dialogue. She actively collaborates with mission-driven organizations to create meaningful social impact.
Ms. Shashikala Venkatraman brings over four decades of expertise in brand strategy, marketing, and media management. She is an Advisor to Multiples Private Equity and works closely with portfolio companies on marketing and DEI initiatives. Previously, she served as COO of Worldwide Media Ltd., a joint venture between BBC Worldwide and The Times Group. She is also Co-Founder of My Liveable City, a global platform focused on sustainable and inclusive urban development.
Mr. Rahul C. Mehta is a dual-qualified Chartered Accountant and Cost & Works Accountant with over 30 years of investing experience across public markets, private equity, and family office portfolios. He practices concentrated investing in public markets and co-founded MentorCap, a venture studio focused on private investments. Over his career, he has been associated with Corporate Database, Banque Nationale de Paris, and Sunidhi Securities.
Mr. Ramakanth V. Akula is a seasoned business leader with over 30 years of experience in FMCG, paints, and aquaculture industries. Prior to joining Waterbase, he served as President – India at Nippon Paint, where he established and scaled the company’s Indian operations. He has also held senior leadership roles at Ampro, Wimco, and Kansai Nerolac. His expertise spans marketing, general management, and business transformation.
Mr. Rahul Kapur is a management postgraduate from the UK and Founder & Managing Director of Avitech Nutrition Pvt Ltd, a leading producer of premixes and additives for animal nutrition. With over three decades of industry experience, he has held leadership roles across animal genetics and veterinary biologicals. He serves on the boards of multiple companies across animal health and allied sectors. He is widely recognized for his contributions to the animal health industry.

Executive Leadership
Mr. Chola Varma Alluri holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has completed his MS and MBA from the University of Utah, USA. With over two decades of experience, he has worked across semiconductor manufacturing and aquaculture. Prior to joining, he led the shrimp processing and export business at Summit Marine Exports Pvt Ltd and previously worked with Intel Micron Flash Technologies, USA. He has played a key role in scaling and operational strengthening initiatives.
Mr. R. Sureshkumar oversees finance, secretarial, and compliance functions at the Company. With extensive experience in corporate finance, governance, and regulatory compliance, he plays a critical role in strengthening financial controls and statutory frameworks. He supports the Board and leadership team in ensuring transparency, accountability, and adherence to regulatory standards.
